My son has been bugging me about these two questions forever. Can you put tailights from an S90 on an '88 245? Also, he has seen the euro corner markers and wonders where he can get them and if they can in fact be put on my car. Thanks.

Sedan lights on a wagon? Unless you're a whiz at custom bodywork, definitely not.

Do you mean the white/amber turn signal covers or the side markers that need additional wiring? FCP Groton sells the turn signal covers, iPd and VLVworld sell the side markers (or junkyard off of another car - mine has Saab 900 markers, and I've got a couple of sets of Volvo 300 series to install as well).

yea i don't think the taillights from a v90 would fit a 245. although, if you want the red-white-white-red look you can buy 240 taillights that are like that.

Does FCP Groton sell the euro turn signal covers for '86+ cars? I thought they only had them for the older ones.

They do have the side markers (Scan-Tech), in either amber or clear. They should be listed for S/V 70s. They snap right in the hole that is under the Volvo emblem and then you can wire them up yourself. The connectors are used in many other places in Volvos (windsheild washer pumps, for example), so you can just grab them from the junkyard or your parts pile or whatever.

For the 245 taillights, try Autolampslus on ebay. They occasionally have them (right now they only have *all* clear listed). IIRC, they were $85 or so.
