i remember reading at least one thread, a sort of step by step for the m90 swap into our US volvos. I'm mainly interested in the hydraulic clutch details as well as 240 specific info. Searched a bunch... nothing. "m90" is too short to search....

well in that case, anyone know how the shifter position alignment is in a 240? any other problem spots with doing it? Hydraulic clutch? Driveshaft problems?

I have an M90 in my 240. Linkage for the shifter needs to be shortened 3-4".

Hydrialic clutch consists of a 240 clutch master cylinder sourced via ebay. All of the lines and slave cylinder are fomr a 740 turbo. Bolts right up.

Clutch pedal is a standard cable pedal but modified (cut the arm that "pulls" the clutch cable, weld it on the other side so it "pushes" the master.

Front driveshaft will be an M47 drivehsaft in your case (rubber 3 bolt guibo is the same). You will need to lengthen it a bit because the m90 is short.

Transmission mount is strraightforward.

I don't really have much for pics.. if you get stuck I can dig some up. It is straightforward for the most part though.
