Mark your calendars - Davis 2025, April 26-27

First time trying to attend, just had some questions that I can’t seem to find, 1. what time does the car show start on Sunday, 2. where is the car show going to be located and 3. Is there a fee if I just want to come look at the car and swap meet
 
The short version...gates open at 8, located at central park in Davis. No charge to walk around, only $20 if you want to enter a car in the show.

Reminder to all...show pre-reg is closing on Monday, so get your reg in now. We're right around 100 cars so far, and we've got a good size group for the drive on Saturday as well, definitely will be splitting in 2 for the fast group again.
 
Been wanting to see this show for years -- not to mention meet a few more of you cool folks. I'm completely tied up that Saturday but could possibly come ogle the car show on Sunday. (I have no interesting Swedish metal running at this time... but I've noticed that lots of gatherings work better with an appreciative audience.)

You and the flyer both say "Central Park"... is it safe to trust the Great Google which pinpoints that at 5th & B, although I'm guessing car show parking will be along C Street? I enjoy learning my bearings ahead of time.

And I'm guessing that spectator parking will be on city streets but that I should be prepared to walk a mile? :)

Is there a schedule/time table for Saturday?
We just want to ogle Volvos, old and new, and maybe tag along for part of the drive.
Not worried about breakfast.
 
We'll be there setting up early, formal 'start' is 8am, usually roll out for the drive starting around 10:30.

Wagon's loaded except the last minute stuff, trek thru the snow over Donner tomorrow should be interesting. Saturday may be a little wet, we'll see how that goes. Might slow us down on the drive a little if the roads are wet...
 
Regretfully won't be able to make it this time. Pour one out for me! I did some thrashing on my 242 in the driveway last night anyway, as a tribute.
 
That was fun!!!.... finally made my first Davis meet. met lots of cool people and so lots of cool cars. it was a well run event. thank you to everyone that made this possible.

Thanks to all who attended, 2nd largest show we've had, beaten only by 2018, before COVID hit.
