Ok lets start out by saying I have been creeping on this forum of and on for the btter part of a year. My family is full of Volvos. Heres a listing of what cars we have had in the family:
Green 242
gold 242+T
white 240DL 4 door
91 940 SE Turbo
these are all between my mom and dad
Silver 242T
89ish 740 I think
so now Im grown up Im 21 and I want somthing to get back into. I decided I wanted to drift and then I started searching for a car that would best suit me. Well Nissans are fun and all but everyone of my friends at the Drift events have them...so over the last couple months Ive decided that I think I want a 242...however I cant find one remotley close let alone find one for sale at a resonable price ANYWHERE...I normally would just hit up ebay and see whats up..there are 3 on ebay....
So, I think I could still swing and be extremely happy with a 4 door, but I cant do the wagon..I try to force myself to like it but I cant. So I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or anything on what I should do...
The car has to be RWD and Id love a 240..however I dont want to spend a lot on the car as I plan to do a full motor build at this new shop in Atlanta, which is no where near me but I met the owners and they are looking to try new things and fab work on Volvos...so I figured Id give it a shot. I just want to drive somthing fun...my explorer gets old and my dad would flip if I showed up with a modded 240...
I realize thats alot of semi useless reading to help me out but Im bored at work and really excited about drifting in a volvo.
