No Power to Interior Light

I have a 1990 240 wagon, and I'm going through everything, so everything works. The one thing that stumps me is that I have no power in the 2 wires for the interior light. I have power in the rear interior light. Fuse is fine, is there any place I can check or common places for the wire to break? Maybe you can shed some light on the sitution Thanks, Stacey

Could be a green wire came off of fuse 8 if you don't have battery voltage up there at the light socket. Here are some links to the diagrams. The green wire is wired the same whether you have the (at some point optional) delay feature or don't:
