No spark, no start, totally out of ideas

Hello everyone, I'm in desperate need of help. I have a 1991 Volvo 240 N/A that suddenly died on me in the middle of traffic while leaving work.
Automatic transmission, no codes just 1-1-1. Car cranks all day long.
Air is good, Fuel is good, pumps are turning on and sending fuel up to the rail.

I have now replaced/checked almost every part under the hood and still have no spark. Checked timing and all grounds 100 times over.
New: Cap, Rotor, Wires, Fuel pump relay, Ignition coil & Module (Tested on another working 240), Crank sensor.

The only two sensors I haven't touched or replaced are the knock & temperature sensor.

What am I missing? I'm sure there's more I've checked (Just can't think of everything off the top of my head) Please advise, Thanks!!

This thread seems to have similar symptoms on a similar car. Long and short of it is check the 25a blade fuse or maybe your tach wire is shorting. I'd give the whole thing a read-through, it's a good start for troubleshooting.

Sadly my 91 doesn't have that 25amp fuse under the hood, I'll give it a read though, thank you! Unless they moved it to a crazy new location, it's not there on the side of the fender

How did you check timing? Did you verify that cam lobe orientation at top dead center was correct? I thought I checked my timing once when I was having a similar issue, but someone pointed out that I only checked the positioning of the gears, not the actual orientation of the crank and cam shaft. Indeed, it turned out the little roll pin in the cam shaft had sheared off and the gear spun around it. I realize you might still have spark in this instance, but still worth asking

My 88 240DL did the same wile driving over speed rumble strips. I searched a thread on TB to help me troubleshoot. It helped me identify a disconnected wire from the 25A blade fuse next to the ignition coil.

Got 5v pulse to the powerstage from the EZK box? LED test lamp should blink on a 5V sqare wave signal.

Got codes on EITHER pin 2 or 6? Or did you just check one of them.?

Got power to the MAF and injectors?

Got scope, meter, powerprobe, test lamp, or able to build a test bulb with a positive and negative wire?

You aren't really telling us much. Maybe fire the parts cannon with a powerstage.

Without doing any electrical diag, there isnt much we can do to help.

Well I'm not going to question it, or what I did differently this time but the ol' girl is running perfectly again. I believe it was a combination of the ignition module and nasty old crank sensor. I appreciate the knowledge and help from everyone. Thank you all
