Any one else have any issues with LH2.4 restricting + boost after venting to atmosphere?

I got my genuine 012 MAF and no more cel paired with TLAO and #48 injectors.

I was able to build about 10lbs yesterday and after the BOV vented it hesitated every time and wouldnt get any boost. My wastegate actuator on my 16T already has pretension. Im running a MBC.

what type/brand/model bov are you using?

with problems like this it sometimes helps to move the air mass /air flow meter and put it between the bov and the throttle body.

or use a twin piston bov. that often is the only bov that works on some cars (especially on cars with a flapper style air flow meter)

could also be the problem is that is it a cheap chinese fake (most turbo parts on ebay are fake from china)

if it is a chinese fake just throw it away very far..

^ that. put the CBV back on the 16T. took it for a few drives, each time it feels like it wants to pull but after the boost gets to 2psi the car stalls and is reluctant to GO.

the kids are home now and I cant think..

it goes like this, I give it gas and if i give it too much the car stalls and wont go. Each time I take it for a drive the car feels better, smoother idle and quicker acel but it will cut right when boost is setting in

Ive checked my intercooler piping and everything from the turbo to the tb is tight. It really seems like a vac leak, i dont know, I guess I was wondering if LH can keep boost down while its re-learning. Ill keep checking for a leak somewhere.
I put a new air filter on
deleted the BOV
put CBV back on

I am going to toss the MBC and see if I can at least make stock boost without it

Bov opening up at boost. It will also open up when you let off the gas or the car will stall when you come to a stop and you have to use one foot for the break and the other for the gas. I have a $30 bov from flea bay.

It's an easy fix. Tighen up the bov til the idel sounds just right or when it let's off boost when its suppost too.

Mine opens up when I'm going down the ride coasting. I can hear it make a high punch sound. It stays closed when I'm on it pretty damn good. Let's off when its suppost too

There was indeed a leak off my 90 degree bend to my TB. I took apart cleaned and re-did the post intercooler piping, BOOOST

so nice.

I also would recommend to any one to open the intercooler drain plug and run the engine a bit in park 1k to 4k to blow out any old $hi

I guess I was wondering if LH can keep boost down while its re-learning.

the boost is maintained by a vacuum hose to the wastegate, the ecu has nothing to do with it.

i'd first check the vacuum hoses to the wastegate and cbv, as well as elsewhere of course ...

did you disconnect anything during the switching around of these parts?

..... damn, how did i not see your response above concerning fixing the problem, heh - never mind ... :)
