Looking at basic V8 fitment issues - couple questions if you have time -
Where did you end up sourcing the banjo style adaptors for the trans cooler lines?
If I remember right I got them on Amazon. I guess you already know it has to tightly go 90 because of tunnel clearance.
Where did you look to figure out shifter options? I'm putting the 4L60e in my 740 - which does look somewhat different in overall case layout than yours, but was still cable operated I assume?

Probably the fastest thing on the block ! Super sick , is the ecu auto tuning still ??

I took it to someone who does aerospace welding for GE. His welds are awesome.nice welds on the axle work.
