I have a fairly large rusted out hole near the bottom of my A-pillar that I need to repair, that goes all the way to the chrome trim. The trim seems to be riveted to the body. Is there any way to remove the trim besides drilling out the rivets?

Hole that I need to repair, for reference

the chrome trim should come out easily with a lil work try moving it back and forth then pry the trim with a screwdriver

east coast car or lives by the cost or the drain rail for the power sunroof got cloged theres a list of reasons y

I bought this car back in September. The hole was a lot smaller, but I guess it rusted on the inside. Some jack*** decided to enlarge the hole for me, although maybe it was a good thing, since it would have to be removed anyway.

It's an '87 760 Turbo

So the trim comes out easily? What about the rivets? Or are they attached to some other sort of attachment? Anyone have a pic of said removed trim?

Eh, I can go without the trim anyway ;)

I just might pull all the trim. Actually, has anyone just completely removed the gutter?
