Found a plugged hose from flame trap to throttle body, repaired but blow out rear cam plug. Does the new plug just push in? Read that the rear cam cap has to come off? It' a full circle in back on the head that you can see the end of the cam shaft. Also which way does plug go in flat side in towards cam or lip side?

Thank You All and Have a Great Holiday

The easy painless way to install the plug is to remove the valve cover and remove the rearmost cam cap. The flat side of the seal goes to the outside of the engine.

Buy a Volvo seal. I just tried to push it in flush and then I pried it in with a 2x4. I have ipds retaining plate and I put that against it while prying so it went in even.

Don't do it like that. Pull the valve cover and rear cam cap.
