So nothing abnormal happened while driving my S60R but the next day after i parked it for the night, it started making a clicking/knocking noise under deceleration only . the sound has no rhythm to it. Its defilently noticeable in 2nd and 3rd gear.
I jacked the car up and everything looks/feels okay. Although when rotating the drive line from the angle gear back and fourth, there is some backlash with some clanking noise. the backlash seems bit much.. and there should be some noise from the gear contact...
My AWD still works but I wonder if this is a sign the angle gear collar is stripping out...? but only on deceleration.. witch is a little weird.
any ideas or thoughts?
