se body kit on 940

Hope I put this in the correct area, I tried searching with very little luck. I have a 94 940 wagon with the 91 SE kit on it. Rear matches up great but front does not match the inner wheel well line. didnt know if anyone ever confirmed the SE cars used a shorter bumper strut for mounting. Thanks

There are two different front bumper struts for the 7/9 series. If the car has the glass head lights with the fogs lights, the struts are ~ 3/4" longer. You probably have a set of those struts on your car with a bumper that was meant for the shorter struts.

Ive head you need 1990 bumper shocks and bumper, but cant be sure on that.

So other than the SE cars are the ones with the non fog light front end the same as SE beings they are the cars they came on? if not do you know which ones are same length. I want to fix this issue. Thanks in advance

The non-fog front ends use the shorter struts. Both 740s and 940s.
