short strut inserts

Hello everybody, I'm from France and I want to low more my brick, any people confirm than Saab 900 / 9-3 will fit on Volvo 240 housing without modification (only cut de struts), because Koni is very expensive

Thanks !

Those work fine with regular lowering springs, and you don't have to cut your strut tubes. If you go adjustable coilovers, then you will have to look for a Koni race shock or use the link I provided. A 136kg spring is about the maximum that the Koni shock you provided will handle.

Yes I have ajustable Kalphenke coilovers but with 1cm more the confort is perfect

I wanna use the Saab 9-3 struts but my question is what do you make the spacers from? I wanna use the spacers on top. Do the spacers have to be the same diameter as the strut? Can I just make a spacer out of the top of the original strut? Sorry for all the questions but I wanna do it right the first time cause getting the struts out isn't my funniest thing to do.

I would make them as close as possible to the same diameter. I would make a solid spacer though. Saab struts are a little noodley if you are going to do coilovers.

My wagon has cut springs. I'm not too concerned about travel but I am thinking that with the Saab struts and spacer on top that the strut would operate in the stock strut range than it would if I used the stock strut. So the strut won't blow as easily.
