Solved: Daytime running lights/front parking lights on

after rewiring the bulb failure sensor, I removed the electrical tape on the wires and traced each color to their respective position. the white wire from 15 on the bulb failure sensor which connects to 13 on the sensor (red), was wired into fuse 14 instead of 15

Great, glad you figured it out. Next is to find a 5-pin switch and see if the running lights start working correctly again.

Edit: if you can't find the proper 5-pin switch easily, I can sketch out how to use a cube relay to get the DRL working with a 3-pin switch.
