SouthEast '25 March 28-30

Drew bought a 150 shot for the large car. It will be installed but untested.
He was talking about swapping intakes on the wee car to get A/B comparison, something about Lucky Dog rules vs Grid Life rules, more area under the curve with a lower peak #, yadda.

I'm slipping to a maybe. I have had 7 weeks in a row of work travel, with the next 4 weeks already booked. I'll be in New Orleans(ish) the week prior to SE and I need to be home for a thing on the 28th. I could leave that evening probably, but idk.

Might be taking a pass. Work sucks.

yeah you've been busy lately

Weather is looking awesome, but... there is no test and tune friday night (they have an all-weekend bracket race event). Anyone that wants to get T&T passes in will need to be here thursday, during the daytime (11a-5p), it's $50. The upshot is it's likely a fairly private event, the downshot is..well it's $50 and it's early.

So... in place of that..we can do dynoing on friday in the afternoon, and I *believe* dean of em 'air machines is contemplating a speed-build. I'll work out those details with him. So downside: no real drag racing. :sad-panda: upshot: even more chill and more likely to be able to drive home! /spin

more details as they come available

Making last minute plans. Is it worth coming Thursday to watch people drag?

I honestly dunno if anyone is coming to drag race (I haven't heard yet at least).

prelim pricing on the mudbugs is about as spicey as the seasoning (ok, maybe not that bad. but it is a week to week thing this part of the season, so I'm not going to lock'r in til next monday/teusday when I put the order in)... so I would like as accurate a headcount as possible :-)

I’m back down to me and drew.

and the forecast reaches thru saturday now! Obviously subject to change some, but currently looks like low to mid 80's and mid-upper 50's, and the closest chance of rain is this coming sunday/monday. Should be perfect

Still iffy. I'm working in NYC this week, fly back in Friday, kiddo school thing Friday afternoon, then maybe I'll head down? Idk. Very much depends on how I feel. Hell, I might just come down Saturday AM. We'll see.

so what do you do the week of an SE meet? swap an engine of course.

not likely to be completely finished, but circumstances made it such that it was the most logical approach.
