stereos systems in 245's lete see them

I have two Rockford 12's and a Sony Xplode 700 watt amp. It bumps pretty good. All I have in the front are some pioneer 5 1/4's and for my head unit I have an old sony. I'll post pictures later today.

I run Sony's for some wierd reason. This is an Explode with 2 faces.

True.... to solve that issue, I rebuild the carpet panel with black abs plastic. then reglued the carpet back on.

How'd you do that?

Very time consuming. It is real burl wood with 4 coats of clear on it. Then double stick tape to hold it in place. Came out pretty good. After cutting sanding and the clear, it took about 20 hours to make. All 3 pieces.

245s need one of these:

and one of 84 Blue 240's boxes.

Super tailgate party - GO!

Hmmm... Wonder if my 944 could handle something like that...

Here is a better look:

The crappy part is that it was a sub-$100 unit. I've got 4 "basic" Pioneer speakers (one is even held in with bolts). It's not even close to a decent setup! It just made a bit of noise to drown out the squeaks and creaks the car makes going down the road. Anyway I'll see about getting another unit. I see one at Best Buy for $80... nice :)
