that would be cool, but it does seem like a long drive just for a half-day meet.Ive seriously been considering driving the Nolvo across country just for this, it made it down to Dezerland and back. It will be even more badass to make up to the upper left corner. I should probably start a go fund me for help with gas. Tbrickers for lodging, that was fun on my trip south.
Post up in OT and reference the TB Couchsurfing thread pinned there.A few years ago I drove my z32 down to Georgia for the Z nationals and decided I'd go all the way and drove it to key west. Last year I did the Dezerland meet in the Nova, I have friends near by. This would be a bit different, but I plan to meet other t Bricker on my travels. I hope it inspires people to live for now, not some distant point out in the future.
No doubt. Here's an album of the show from 2013, wonder how many of these cars are still around. That's wild. I always rolled my eyes a little when the older guys would say "wow, feels like that was yesterday"...but wow, it really does feel like yesterday when you are in the "old" category.
holy shit there i am 11 years ago... my first iPDNo doubt. Here's an album of the show from 2013, wonder how many of these cars are still around.
i think it's asher's, pre-harald. i think harald still had the black 944 at this point. but i could be wrong.I didn't get the gray wagon until a couple years later.
I think that blue 242 on Corvette wheels might be Harlard's?
Correct. The 242 is now mine and way less low and the 940 is toasters.i think it's asher's, pre-harald. i think harald still had the black 944 at this point. but i could be wrong.
Dude that was the hotboi wheel for like 10 monthsAlso those Corvette wheels are terrible.
The silver 245 next to the Amazon in the swap meet area was retired right before the 2014 iPd garage sale. Blew its head gasket in December 2013, then a head swap was done in early 2014. Drove a couple more times before the valve shims started slapping in their lifters. At that point, decided it wasn't worth my time anymore. No doubt. Here's an album of the show from 2013, wonder how many of these cars are still around.
I might this year (depending on the confirmed date), but definitely will next year. Davis is apparently happening on the 28th of April and doing both is on my bucket list.Placeholder for the official details. Expecting to get an update around mid-March.
