Volvo 240 Automatic to Hydraulic Manual Swap

I suspose, my 240 has a bolted in block off plate for the hydo master cylinder. I took my stock 260 hydro clutch pedal assembly down to the twins at STS and they used that to make the hydro 240 pedals.. I also took a plastic 740 one and a custom aluminum one they got those to start making 740 ones. I got complete 240 manual cable pedal box extra I should sell it I guess.
Interesting. What year is it? Are you U.S. based? Could be a mod from the previous owner. These cars (and mine) are constant victims of "I'll get to it one day" haha. I haven't seen any around my area with an auto trans but equipped for a hydro clutch. The 240 pedal boxes are worth about $160-180 from what I've seen. I have an extra one kicking around, if I can find another flywheel I might convert my other wagon too.

Yes USA I already said that and asked you where you from? Anyway if you look at the firewall in a 240 those left and right plates are modular so you can swap em for left or right hand drive.. The ones that came with hydro clutch where the 260 models the ones with the v6 PRv motors the same motors they put in the Deloreans.. Not sure why this wagon I got has that block off plate but it does have that and a cable clutch!! I don't need the hydro setup on this junker NA 240. I have that on all my manual 740's for sure! With Getrag trans or M90... And billet steel flywheels...

1988 volvo 240 white race grannies old wagon factory m47 with cassette holder and mini tach! Grandma I bought it from had done the overheated and melted two piston mod to it and then paid a shop 1500 for rebuilt head but still didn't run, ha ha ha... So I got it all stock with melted motor for 1k. I raced it out with all the upper lowers and bars and sheet and poly of course.. 90 plus big rod b230 motor of course.

Ohh I also LH 2.4erd it with STS flat flywheel with 2.4 holes drilled into it. Last thing I still haven't done is put A cam in it, still has M cam..

Ah, sorry, I must have missed that, or else I wouldn't have asked again. I am also US based. Out of the multitude of wagons I've seen, I've never seen one with that plate. Nice find. Looks like a nice build! I've been trying to find a working Volvo cassette player for forever.
