You could probably fit a 3-71 in a 240. I'd love to see a 6v92 tt setup in one.Detroit Diesel 16V71
12v cummins swap?OP gone, please continue the bench racing.
Please swap big rig engine
Maybe? I have seen a 4-71 or 4-53 in a square body Chevy.You could probably fit a 3-71 in a 240. I'd love to see a 6v92 tt setup in one.
Redblock Jesus will smite theeMaybe the fact that not everyone who likes Volvos is a fan of redblock engines.
I seem to have had better luck with older turbo diesel VWs than with redblocks. 1.6L NA diesel with volvo t3 cranked to 25psi was awesome.Redblock Jesus will smite thee
Is a B20 a Redblock?Redblock Jesus will smite thee
It's like the holy trinity. B18/20 is the father, B21/23/230 is the son, and the B234 is the holy spirit. Is a B20 a Redblock?
Has anyone tried to build a diesel redblock? crank up the compression,?I seem to have had better luck with older turbo diesel VWs than with redblocks. 1.6L NA diesel with volvo t3 cranked to 25psi was awesome.

might fool him with an International Harvester 345, but only because the IH345 has the same 108hp a b230 hasCan you fool Redblock Jesus by painting the TDI iron block red?
When I was driving my 244 (unknown mileage but slapped like hell), I had a lot of folks at gas stations ask if it was a diesel. I really didn't notice from inside the car, but if I was ever warming it up in the morning before work, the clatter was noticeably diesel-like.Diesel clatter is easily explained away as piston slap.
I remember. I wonder if it's still running.
You don't remember this?
