Hey,
I picked up an aluminum hood for my 740 at the ipd garage sale for 10 dollars. When i got it, it was painted white. I sanded it down and painted it flat black. Here are some pictures:

I also blacked out the slash on the grill and the chrome around to headlights.

Should I take it off until i can get it painted the same color as the body, rock the flat black look or try to get the whole car painted black. Has anyone in the portland area done an f+t conversion, I'm almost set to go with it but I know I'll need some help.

but the others do.... can i just ask what it is about the spoiler that causes you to be attracted to it?

its really different... i think im going to take it off soon but its kinda fun for now.

yea colin leave it flat black till you want to get it painted (as in the whole car) it looks fine flat black and gives your front end a different look. yea i will help with the f+t as much as i can, never done it but i would love to help or watch or something. i got lots of tools too.

hehehe

Hmm taking a page from the flat black flathood club maybe we should start a black hood and aluminum spoiler club? My hood is glossy black (like the rest of the car) though. Oh yeah good on you for having the balls to have a wing. Now make that brick fly like it was tossed by a major league pitcher (that analogy sucks). Uhhhh yeah go stick shift too and turbo it cause it's easy on an 8 valve. Try it on a 16 valve lol I am scared to attempt all the fabricating so I am looking for a toyota supercharger.

Cheers
James
