Who's the go-to for wheel adapters nowadays?

I want some hubcentric 5x108, 65mm center bore to 5x114.3 73mm center bore adapters...I'm tired of my steering wheel doing the shimmy for a few hundred miles every time I remove the front wheels.

Has anyone bought any recently? What vendor did you use, and how's the quality?

Motorsport Tech has been around for a long damned time, forget how long ago I bought my first pair. They are also the ones that made my Bora spacers on the Runner. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them, made here in the states as well last time I looked.

+1 for Motorsport-tech. Mine were good to at least 120mph at the track. I’d suggest going smaller on the center bore OD for the adapted wheel and using the plastic hub rings in case you switch wheels and the hub bore is smaller.

if you haven't noticed the trend yet, i'll vouch again for motorsport-tech. Have three sets from them, couldnt be happier with the quality.

Just picked up a set of crown vic multi x for a deal- will be going w motorsport tech based on this feedback. Still gotta decide on thicknesses, will be taking measurements etc but curious what other are running

Depends a lot on wheel offset tbh. But I've found a 25mm set will make a huge variety of wheels work. The kicker is hub bore diameter since it's different across makes and models, but you can get adapter rings in order to make wheels with a larger hub bore than your spacer work. Just don't cheap out on the spacers at get them without a male hub bore on the adapted side. At least in my experience the wheels will never truly be perfectly lined up on your spacer and it will feel like they are unbalanced.

Motorsport tech has a huge catalog of vehicle/wheel measurements. If you call them they can sort you out proper.

These vic wheels should be et-6 w a CB of 70.5mm-all to be verified of course. Definitely will be getting in touch w em before pulling trig on an order tho

I got cheap ones from Amazon and made inner and outer hub centering rings with the 3d printer. They work. The Amazon spacers are strong enough, I drifted my 940 into a curb last winter hard enough to break my wheel, bend an axle and turn the panhard rod into a pretzel, the spacer was fine after. Studs didn't move at all, still all concentric when I checked it in the lathe.

Motorsport Tech were the last ones I bought, probably 10+ years ago. Used them to fit Corvette wheels on the Lemons 245.

If the bevel/chamfer around the inside edge of the centerbore of the wheel is especially wide, spec the lip on the adapter to be taller than the usual ~6mm or whatever it is. As long as the wheel has depth to accept the taller lip on the adapter, it makes it nice to install wheels because the wheel isnt falling off the lip while you start the lugs.

I can post photos later of adapters. The GM wheels I've used have had a wide chamfer before the actual ID of the centerbore starts.
