stock tach gauge output on kjet -> MS car

Ok... last stupid question for a little bit I hope.

So now that I'm using an LH2.2 dizzy to get the tach input for MS... where do I pull the signal for the tach in my gauge cluster?

Sucks not having a tach in the car aside of the laptop, and that only works half the time as I usually have some window open and the gauge doesn't read in megatune then :rofl:

Also, I'm running MS1 v2.2

depends, how do you have the spark output setup? powering a single coil? coil packs?

you may be able to pickup the tach signal from your coil, in this case its just a matter of running a wire from the coil to the cluster. otherwise read up on the megasquirt guides and you can setup a tach output directly from megasquirt and run that to the cluster.
 
Single stock coil, with a bosch 139.

I was just curious if others were able to pull it off the coil.
 
easy as then, run a wire from the negative side of the coil to the white-red wire behind the cluster and it will work just fine. its how i have it setup.
