I was wondering what the process is for putting the little tailgate spoiler from a 960/v90 to a 740 is. I tried searching wasn't really able to find anything about how easy it is to do or if it is a bolt on thing.
Picture for an example

There are holes for clips in the tailgate of the 960/V90. They slide horizontally to get off, can't remember which direction. I think 99.9% of folks that slap one of these on a 745/945 (like myself) just use some quality double sided foam tape after a good clean and prep. No issues with mine.

Unless you grind the lip spoiler to fit over the window trim that's already there on a 7/9, you'll have to pop that off. I found some plugs to fill the trim holes to keep dust and water out.

The holes that hold the clips are square BTW, so simply drilling the hatch isn't gonna let you use them.
I'd go with thin double sided adhesive- works fine on other cars that run aftermarket wings that are way heavier.
Regarding the top window trim: do 965's use a different version or their hatch doesn't have them at all? Is that trim swappable?

IIRC They don't have trim above the window. Not 100% sure though.

Thanks! I had your car in mind actually  Good to know that the tape seems to work fine. I didn't realize there was trim above the window. I will check it out.
